HAIR 5-PANEL WITH EXPANDED OPIATE DRUG TEST

This Hair Follicle Drug Test (5‐Panel with Expanded Opiates) will determine the presence or absence of 5 types of drugs in your hair.   Most people requesting a Hair Follicle Drug Test request a detection window for up to 90 days, depending upon the length of hair collected.  A small sample of hair will be collected from several inconspicuous spots on your head.  As a substitute, body hair can be used; however, the detection window varies for body hair.

This test is a laboratory-based test, and includes a screen and a confirmation, if necessary.

TEST DETAILS

This Hair Follicle Drug Test (5‐Panel) checks for the presence of 5 drug metabolites including:

  1. Amphetamine/Methamphetamines
  2. Marijuana
  3. Cocaine
  4. Opiates
  5. Phencyclidine

+     Expanded OPI

Expanded Opiates May Include: Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Oxymorphone, Hydromorphone, Codeine, and Morphine (vary by lab).

FAQS

IS A DOCTOR’S ORDER REQUIRED?
No. You do not need to provide a doctor’s order to get lab testing done at Advanced Practice Clinic.
WHEN WILL I GET MY TEST RESULTS?
When the drug screen is performed in the laboratory, the drug screen results take 24 to 72 business hours after specimen collection. If the drug screen is non-negative, the result and specimen will then need to be confirmed. Confirmation takes an additional 48 to 72 business hours after the screen is completed.
DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
No. You can walk in for same day testing. We make it easy for you by offering work-friendly hours.
